Melissa Anthony

Having begun her career in 2002 in early intervention settings for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Melissa now has over two decades of clinical and community experience.

 

Melissa has served  in clinics, schools and private homes; has mentored students in a college placement program, and has been a trainer in crisis prevention. Through her interactions with clinicians, educators and families, Melissa developed a passion for responding to diversity needs while providing ethical care.

Melissa created Struthios to house original content that focuses on compassionate, ethical caregiving. The program Culture Informed Care© is her first such offering.

When not championing ethical service provision, Melissa blogs from her cabin-home in South Park, Colorado, where she lives with her husband and pets.  She is also bonus-mom to three children whom she teaches to read music and who help her tweak recipes.
